Join us for our annual Design Show, where we celebrate local creatives in a juried exhibition of work from the past year!

Eligibility:
Eligible work must have been produced between March 2021 and March 2023. 

Contestants must work in the Saint Louis Metropolitan Area. Student work must have been produced by students in junior- or senior-levels and enrolled in a Saint Louis area college or university design program during the eligibility period.

Remember, multiple entries can be submitted and paid for at one time. Once payment is complete, any additional work must be submitted as a new entry; you may use the same email address for any additional entries you would like to submit.

Print Work

• Submit 1–5 images per entry
• The first image will be your “main image” that will represent the entry.
• A short description (up to 250 words) of the project
• Credits—Please organize your credits by "Name – Role” — Example: (Joe Dirt – ECD, Mia Wallace – CD, Bob Loblaw – Writer, LeeLoo Dallas – AD/Designer)

Websites and Videos

• Submit 1–5 images per entry
• For websites, submit the URL. Judges will be reviewing sites online.
• For videos, include URL to the page where the video lives (i.e. YouTube, Vimeo, etc). Judges will be reviewing videos online. Actual video files will not be accepted.
• A short description of the project (up to 250 words)
• Credits—Please organize your credits by "Name – Role” — Example: (Joe Dirt – ECD, Mia Wallace – CD, Bob Loblaw – Writer, LeeLoo Dallas – AD/Designer)

Image Specifications

All images must be formatted to the following specifications in order to upload successfully into the system.

• Each project submitted can include any combination of images, videos, or 3D assets to be featured on an individual project page and represented in some form in the VR gallery.
• Images: uncompressed, high-resolution PNG files are ideal. high quality (low compression) JPEGs are also acceptable.
  • Dimensions: 1500x1500 pixel max
  • File Size: 2MB max
  • Color Space: RGB
• Videos: high-quality MP4 files with h.264 encoding. YouTube or Vimeo links are also acceptable.
• 3D Assets: OBJ + MTL and texture files, FBX + texture files, or GLB/GLTF files. (if featured in the VR gallery, we'll likely reduce polygon count, or otherwise modify the submitted files)
• Websites/Interactive Work: URL of the live site, up to 5 screenshot images, and/or a video screen recording showing highlights from the experience.

Judging

The judges will be reviewing all work online. At the show, the judges will be present and will select best in show and judges choice awards.

Notifications
All jury-selected winners will be notified of their selection, and may need to provide additional files or alternate file formats for display purposes at the AIGA Saint Louis Design Show. We reserve the right to refuse any work that differs greatly from the images submitted for judging.

Refunds
No refunds are available for work submitted.

Permission to reproduce work
By entering the competition, entrants recognize AIGA Saint Louis' right to show and/or publish the work in order to further promote the design show, the applicants, and the whole design community.
